here's a challenge for all you math people out there. Bonus points to whoever can tell me where it came from.

f(1) = 7182818284

Isn't that the Google application problem based on numbers of e or something like that? Where the digits added to umm... 49?

i could see that the digits add up to 49, but that still doesn't tell me what the f(5)is. could you explain?

(my literalist friend who doesn't like to talk about dreams and claims not to looked at the list i'd copied down and put in the hall and said "it's just a bunch of phone numbers!"

they are the first 5 consecutive sets of 10, that add to 49, in the natural number e. so the answer is 5966290435.
